- shimmer - A great alternative to port knocking, which may actually come in useful, however it does have a dependency on time, so be careful. Any time difference of over 3 mins can get you blacklisted from your own systems.

- IPv6: coming to a root server near you - This has got to be a sign IPv6 is about to finally take hold. Watch it, it'll creep up on you if you're not ready for it.
- Spicebird - This collaboration tool (email, RSS, IM, Wiki, Blog etc), based on Mozilla code, looks very promising.

- TransMail Trusted Edition Demo - This looks pretty impressive and as far as I know is the first ever commercial product developed specifically for Solaris Trusted Extensions. This could be very useful in the trusted desktop market
- OpenSolaris Soon to Run on IBM Mainframes - Wooohooo!!! OpenSolaris is soon to run on Big Blue's Big Iron. This is fantastic news and adds even more weight to the strength of OpenSolaris
- Best Web Gallery - CSS & Flash Design Inspiration - An awesome collection of brilliantly designed web sites. A great place to browse if you're short of inspiration.
